The Cirque series was designed by black diamond for when every bit of weight counts. These skis weigh only 900g each making them perfect for spicy summit approaches and picking off technical collars all while maintaining a smooth ride
At 55 the ski's are what I was looking for, light with a quick swing weight. I mounted with the Black Diamond 200's and picked up a pair of Scarpa F1 boots. The ski's are soft in the tip, stiff under foot and through tail with very little progression of flex from soft too stiff. I'm hoping Black Diamond will warranty the ski as, I have had little opportunity to experience all that I purchased them for. My next review will be on how well the warranty process goes. In the meantime, I'm back on my old Atomic Backland 95's for the remainder of the touring season in the Eastern Sierra.
