Gear Buddy Opinion
The Faction agent series was designed to be skied both in and out of bounds. The series is relatively lightweight making it suitable for uphill ascents when paired with touring bindings, but places most of its emphasis on the downhill experience. The 3.0 is the most suitable for west coast skiing. This ski will be able to handle any in bound conditions in its path while simotaniously providing exceptional backcountry performance at just 1740 g per ski. That being said, it may not handle long days quite as well as its skinnier brethren, but the float acquired with its wider stance will compensate for this issue.
The faction agent 3.0 is a great touring ski and performs even better on the downhill. I love having a stiffer ski to handle choppy or icy snow conditions. This ski really drives hard and likes to go fast while still being stable and providing confidence at speed.
