Nomad Lite 105
Gear Buddy Opinion
The Nomad and Maiden Lite were developed in order to bring the classic Freeride performance of Icelantic's best selling models into a lightweight package capable of touring. The Nomad Lite follows the profile of the nomad 105 and weighs just 1856g per ski. This is a great option for someone who wants a true one ski quiver that can handle all mountain skiing as well as the occasional touring mission.
I've spent the 2018/19 season on this ski and absolutely love it! It carves amazingly well for it's width, surfs over fluff like a dream and even handles ice. Oh, and it's splendid touring. Simply put, this ski does it all and you'll have so much fun along the way! I agree with everything Ryan C. mentioned but would like to emphasize this ski's weight and what it means to me. I have it set up with Salomon S/Lab Shifts along with Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD boots. Due to the light weight I find myself skiing longer and finishing fresh, with less fatigue than my prior set up. Being a middle aged guy with two young kids I thought that should be highlighted! I love this ski so much I'm thinking about buying a pair to set up Tele. Great job, Icelantic!!
