Gear Buddy Opinion

The Wayback series was developed to take you up into the backcountry and back down with confidence. These skis utilize K2's lightest weight technology and packages them in an affordable design. The 80 was designed for mountaineering races where you need to get up and down the mountain as quickly as possible.

Customer Review

Very easy to ski, confortable but strong and not weak at the same time; really light to use for touring.
In downhill it prefers medium radius turns in soft and powder snow; in firn snow it is incredibly perfect in all radius turns, it seems like you used for a lifetime from the first approach; in hard snow you have to be careful because sometimes losts the tail and sometimes is so aggressive, but it is typical from the lightweight rocker skis. in very deep rotten snow is better to use with old school jump turns and you will easily come out from every problematic situation. Definitely a very good light touring ski, what i like more is the balance between the lightness, the 80mm underfoot, and the new school-freeride shape
